Cleveland (April 19, 2011) – As one of 10 selected U.S. representatives, Cleveland City Councilman Brian Cummins will travel to Pakistan in late April to facilitate dialogue and promote better understanding of political and legislative processes of both nations through the World Learning Visitor Exchange Program.

Love is found where the heart finds it. There is no law that can be written that can stop one human from loving another. Decades ago the Supreme Court made a decision in Loving vs Virginia that ended restrictions of racially biased laws regarding marriage. The basis for the decision was the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act protects employees from being fired based on sexual orientation as well as 21 states and Washington D.C. have anti-discrimination laws based on sexual orientation and or identity.

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Green Party of the United States will hold its 2013 Annual National Meeting at Iowa Memorial Union University in Iowa City, Iowa, from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28.

Green Party leaders will begin organizing for the 2014 midterm election season. The 2013 meeting in Iowa City will also feature Green Party panels, workshops, meetings of the Green National Committee, and other events. Several Green candidates and elected officials are expected to attend.
