Green Party of Ohio 2004 General Election
Candidates and Results, Nov. 2, 2004
Our candidates here in Ohio did well. Rick laments the partisan
nature of the vote. That people vote the party-line is no surprise,
especially this year. Rick, in terms of the number of votes, you
finished in the top five of Green Party candidates (63) running
for state house seats across the country. Congratulations!
It takes money to win races, $1 to $2 per vote. We need to raise
lots of money. Our candidates moved the Green Party forward this
year. Now on to next year. Thanks, Logan

Four More Years
What is key, what is absolutely essential, is
that those of us who have been actively building the peace
movement, the global justice movement,
the racial justice movement, democratic trade unions, strong
community organizations, the Green Party, the Labor Party
and other third party groups, women's, student, youth and
lgbt organizations-all of us need to keep our heads up, our
minds clear and our hearts strong. We are needed, desperately
needed, right now, and we can't let down those in this country
and around the world who are depending on us to fight these
bastards.”
